On October 29, 2024, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. presented a cheque representing the terminal pay of Nurse Supervisor Evelinda Mariano, who retired after 37 years of dedicated service in the city government. The official handover took place at the Mayor’s Office Conference Room, marking the culmination of a long and impactful career in public service.
Mariano’s career with the City Health Office spanned from 1987 to 2024. For the last 26 years, she served as Nurse Supervisor, where she made significant contributions to the healthcare system in Angeles City. Throughout her tenure, she played a key role in overseeing health services and ensuring the delivery of quality care to residents.
During the simple ceremony, Mayor Lazatin expressed his appreciation for Mariano’s decades of hard work and dedication to the city’s health programs. “Her service to the city is invaluable, and we are truly grateful for everything she has done for the health of our community,” Lazatin said.
