Under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., the Angeles City Government recently rescued several members of the Aeta community in Porac through a well-coordinated reach out operation. The CSWDO has committed to facilitating the full return of the Aeta individuals to their home community in Porac. The office will also continue to monitor the situation to ensure that the Aetas are reintegrated properly into their community and have access to the resources they need.
