The Angeles City Youth Development Office (ACYDO), led by Arnoah Mandani, has been recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Outstanding Local Youth Development Offices in the Philippines. This prestigious award was conferred by the National Youth Commission during the Pangandoy 2024: National Youth Convention, held in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Mandani proudly presented the award to Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. during a courtesy call at the Mayor’s Office. The recognition highlights the city’s commitment to empowering the youth and providing them with the necessary support and opportunities for growth and development.
This marks the second time that the ACYDO has received national recognition. The first recognition came when the office was named one of the Outstanding Local Youth Development Offices during the 4th Philippine Sangguniang Kabataan Awards. These accolades reflect the ACYDO’s consistent efforts to create a positive and lasting impact on the youth of Angeles City.
Mayor Lazatin expressed his joy and pride over the ACYDO’s achievement, noting that such recognitions affirm the city government’s dedication to fostering youth empowerment. He further emphasized that the local government will continue to support initiatives that benefit the youth, with a focus on inspiring positive change in the community.
Mandani, in turn, assured the mayor that the ACYDO will continue to strengthen its programs aimed at providing young people with the tools and support they need to succeed. He emphasized that the office’s goal is to bring even more impactful initiatives to the community, benefiting the youth in all aspects of their lives.
The recognition of the ACYDO aligns with Mayor Lazatin’s vision to build a city where young people can thrive, contribute to society, and be equipped to face future challenges. It is a testament to the city’s commitment to creating a sustainable future for its residents.
As the city celebrates this achievement, the ACYDO looks forward to continuing its efforts in developing programs that will positively impact the youth and further solidify its position as a leader in youth development across the country.
