The Angeles City Government, led by Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr., continues to prioritize the welfare of its citizens by providing essential services to those in need. On January 22, 2025, the local government, through its City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), extended medical, educational, and burial assistance to 351 beneficiaries.
In a ceremony held on January 22, Mayor Lazatin personally handed over the assistance to the recipients, ensuring that each of them received the necessary support. This program is part of the city’s ongoing commitment to improve the lives of Angeleños, particularly those facing financial struggles due to unforeseen circumstances.
The recipients of the assistance were selected based on their specific needs, with medical aid being provided to those facing health challenges, educational support to students and their families, and burial assistance to individuals who recently lost loved ones. These forms of aid were designed to alleviate the burden on families during difficult times.
The CSWDO, which has been at the forefront of implementing these programs, expressed its gratitude for the opportunity to continue supporting the residents of Angeles City.
