On April 2, 2025, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, on behalf of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., recognized the admirable honesty of Jesus Navarro, a driver and member of the Sta. Trinidad Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (SSTODA). Navarro was commended for his act of integrity after returning a lost wallet to its rightful owner.
In a brief ceremony held at the Mayor’s Office, Manuel presented Navarro with a Certificate of Commendation, acknowledging his commendable behavior and setting an example of honesty within the community. Reina Manuel praised Navarro’s act, stating that such gestures serve as powerful reminders of the goodness that exists within the city. “Kahanga-hanga po ang ipinamalas na katapatan ni Ginoong Navarro. Ang mga ganitong gawain ay nararapat lamang na kilalanin at tularan,” she said.
