During the Graduation and Recognition Rites on April 14, 2025, Gueco Balibago Elementary School recognized the Rotary Club of Clark Centennial for their contribution to improving campus safety. The award acknowledged the club’s donation of CCTV cameras, which were turned over on January 16, 2024, to support the school’s anti-bullying efforts.
Held at the school’s Covered Court, the ceremony celebrated the club’s continuous support for the school’s safety initiatives. The CCTV cameras, which monitor critical areas like hallways and playgrounds, have enhanced security and peace of mind for both staff and parents.
Principal Marianne D. Pineda expressed gratitude, noting that the Rotary Club’s efforts have helped create a safer and more disciplined environment. “Thanks to their support, we now have a concrete system in place to protect our students,” she said.
IPP Doc. Jean Caroline Tan received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the club, emphasizing the Rotary Club’s commitment to community service and student welfare. She highlighted the club’s ongoing dedication to fostering a culture of safety and respect.
The Rotary Club’s involvement has also included ongoing support for the school’s peace initiatives, helping instill values of respect and responsibility among students. This partnership underscores the impact of collaboration in building safer learning environments.
