ANGELES CITY – Retired General Oca David Albayalde once again extended his sincere appreciation—this time to the people of Barangay Sapalibutad—for their overwhelming support and continued faith in his advocacy for meaningful change.
During a recent community visit, Albayalde was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the residents of Brgy. Sapalibutad. Their show of support, he said, serves as a powerful reminder that unity and shared vision are the driving forces behind a brighter and more inclusive future for Angeles City.
“Maraming salamat sa inyong mainit na suporta!” Albayalde said in his address. He emphasized that the trust and belief shown by the community reinforce his commitment to pushing for real and lasting reform that uplifts all Angelenos.
The former Philippine National Police chief highlighted the value of grassroots engagement, where the people’s voices and concerns are not only heard but reflected in leadership decisions. According to him, it is only through this level of involvement that true progress can be achieved.
In his speech, Albayalde reiterated that his mission is focused not just on policy, but on people. He called on the residents of Sapalibutad to continue their active participation in local governance and to help inspire others to join the movement toward change.
Leaders and community members of Sapalibutad responded positively, thanking Albayalde for consistently being present on the ground and for recognizing the barangay’s role in the larger goal of citywide development. They noted that his approach reflects a leadership style rooted in compassion and action.
Before ending his visit, Albayalde left the crowd with a hopeful message: “Sama-sama tayong magbigay ng bagong pag-asa at mas magandang kinabukasan para sa bawat Angeleno. Mabuhay po kayo, Brgy. Sapalibutad!” His words were met with cheers and a renewed sense of unity among the attendees.
