This accolade places Angeles City among 15 cities in Central Luzon to be honored for their commitment to transparent and accountable financial operations.
Mayor Lazatin expressed his pride and gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the efforts of the Local Finance Committee, which played a vital role in achieving this milestone. The committee consists of Acting City Treasurer Arneil Escolango, City Budget Officer Jane Nakpil, and City Accountant Lilibeth Enriquez. The Seal of Good Financial Housekeeping is awarded to local government units that comply with the financial reporting guidelines set by the Commission on Audit (COA).
