Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin Jr. has been actively encouraging Angeleños to adopt rescued animals, urging residents to visit the City Veterinary Office for adoption opportunities. He continues to promote the “Adopt, Don’t Shop” message, which aims to combat the overpopulation of stray animals while also providing a second chance for rescued pets.
