On March 12, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the blessing and inauguration of the newly-constructed primary care facility in Barangay Cutud. This facility is a significant addition to the city’s healthcare infrastructure, aiming to improve access to quality medical services for residents within the community.
Accompanying Mayor Lazatin during the ceremony were Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, and members of the City Council. Also present were members of the Barangay Cutud Council, led by Captain Jesusito Masbang, as well as Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and other department heads. Their presence underscored the importance of this healthcare initiative in the city.
The newly inaugurated primary care facility in Cutud will provide Angeleños with easy access to essential healthcare services. The facility will be staffed by a team of professional healthcare workers, including doctors, nurses, medical technologists, and dentists, ensuring that residents receive optimal medical care within their own community.
Mayor Lazatin expressed that this facility is part of his broader goal to make healthcare services more accessible for all Angeleños. The primary care facilities being established across the city aim to reduce the need for residents to travel long distances for basic medical attention, bringing essential healthcare closer to the people.
A key part of Mayor Lazatin’s leadership agenda is to enhance the city’s healthcare infrastructure. By improving and expanding sub-health centers, the mayor envisions a city where healthcare services are readily available to all residents, ensuring a healthier population for the future.
The opening of the primary care facility in Barangay Cutud reflects the city government’s ongoing commitment to making health services more accessible to its growing population. Through these initiatives, Mayor Lazatin is working to create a city that prioritizes the well-being of its residents.
With the success of this project, the city continues to make progress in its mission to provide better healthcare for everyone. As part of a broader program of healthcare development, this new facility in Barangay Cutud is just one step in the city’s efforts to ensure that all Angeleños have access to the healthcare they deserve.
