On March 12, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. led the blessing and inauguration of a new primary care facility in Barangay Cutud. This addition to the city’s healthcare infrastructure aims to provide accessible and quality medical services to the residents of Cutud and surrounding areas.
The event was attended by key local officials, including Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II, Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, and members of the City Council. Also present were members of the Barangay Cutud Council, led by Captain Jesusito Masbang, as well as Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and various department heads. Their presence highlighted the importance of this healthcare development for the local community.
The newly constructed facility is part of the city’s commitment to improving healthcare access. With a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, medical technologists, and dentists, the primary care facility aims to deliver optimal medical services directly within the community, reducing the need for residents to travel long distances for healthcare.
Mayor Lazatin emphasized that this facility is just one of many initiatives designed to make healthcare services more accessible to the people of Angeles City. He reiterated his promise to continue working toward making essential health services available to all Angeleños, regardless of their location within the city.
One of the key components of Mayor Lazatin’s leadership agenda is to create a healthier community through the development of robust healthcare infrastructure. By enhancing and equipping sub-health centers across the city, the mayor aims to ensure that residents have easy access to necessary medical care, particularly in more remote areas.
This primary care facility in Barangay Cutud is a significant step in fulfilling that vision. It will not only serve as a local healthcare hub but also contribute to the overall well-being of Angeleños by providing preventive care, routine check-ups, and emergency medical services.
As the city continues to grow, the local government remains dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of its residents. The opening of this new facility in Barangay Cutud represents a significant milestone in Mayor Lazatin’s ongoing efforts to enhance the healthcare system and provide all Angeleños with the support they need to live healthy lives.
