On March 24, 2025, the Angeles City Government was honored with the 2024 Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Regional Recognition for Proficiency in Quality Management by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 3. The prestigious award was presented to the city during a turnover ceremony at the Mayor’s Office, highlighting the local government’s commitment to excellence in public service and governance.
Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel and Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego received the award on behalf of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., who expressed pride in the city’s continued efforts to maintain high standards of public service.
