On March 4, 2025, City Treasurer Arneil Escolango, on behalf of Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr., officially received a cheque worth P5 million from representatives of the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) – Angeles City Branch. The cheque represents the city’s share from PAGCOR for the month of January 2025, which is part of the city’s external revenue sources.
The turnover of the cheque took place in a simple but significant ceremony, where City Treasurer Escolango expressed his gratitude to PAGCOR for their continued partnership and support for the city’s development. This monthly contribution plays a vital role in funding various local government projects and services that benefit the people of Angeles City.
Present during the cheque turnover were PAGCOR Angeles City Assistant Branch Manager Manuel Perez, Human Resource Officer Marjorie Dela Cruz, and Finance Officer I Marietta Clarita De Guzman. These officials were part of the team representing PAGCOR to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of the financial contribution.
