Jon Lazatin’s political career began in 2016 when he was elected as the congressman for Pampanga’s First District. Demonstrating effective leadership and dedication, he was re-elected in 2019 and 2022, running unopposed under the PDP-Laban party. During his tenure in the House of Representatives, Lazatin held several key positions, including Vice Chairperson roles in the Committees on Bases Conversion, Flagship Programs and Projects, and Transportation. He was instrumental in authoring and co-authoring numerous bills, with 66 becoming Republic Acts, reflecting his commitment to legislative progress.
