Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has called for emergency response times to be limited to a maximum of 10-15 minutes, emphasizing that every minute of delay could potentially result in the loss of human life. In response, Mayor Lazatin has directed Rudy Simeon, the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer, to position ambulances strategically across the city’s North, East, West, and South areas, ensuring swift response within the specified timeframe.
“This is to ensure easy response to emergency calls,” Lazatin stated. Members of the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office have been stationed at key locations including Caltex Gas Station in Brgy. Pulung Cacutud, the Stoplight in Brgy. Pulungbulu, BPI in Brgy. Balibago, and the Outpost in Brgy. Anunas near Burger King.
