ANGELES CITY – On February 24, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. and Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II led the inauguration and blessing of a newly constructed bridge that connects Barangays Ninoy Aquino and Pulung Maragul along the Abacan Corridor. The opening of this bridge is expected to significantly ease traffic congestion in the area, providing smoother and more efficient travel for residents and commuters alike.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by various city officials, including Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting, and City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Alexander Indiongco, Dr. Mich Bonofacio, Edu Pamintuan, Niknok Bañola, and Crisanto Cortez. Their presence underscored the city’s collective commitment to improving infrastructure and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
Also present at the event were Cong. Jon’s District Chief-of-Staff Janie Sarmiento, Cong. Jon’s Congress Chief-of-Staff Louie Lazatin, Ron Pineda, and Alfred Sangil, who joined the local leaders in celebrating the completion of the project.
