On February 12, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. extended a warm welcome to the Barangay Cutcut Council during their visit to the Mayor’s Office Conference Room. The meeting provided an opportunity for the local officials to engage with the city’s leadership and discuss matters of mutual concern.
Accompanying Mayor Lazatin during the meeting were City Councilor Cris Cortez, ACDRRMO (Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office) Chief Rudy Simeon, and Kuliat Foundation Inc. President Lincoln Baluyut. The visit emphasized the collaboration between the city government and local barangays to address community issues and enhance governance at the grassroots level.
Present at the event were key members of the Barangay Cutcut Council, including Kagawads (Councilors) Harry Louie Vega, Juanito Dayrit, Marcelino Palo, and Alexie Dallo. These officials took the opportunity to raise concerns and ideas for the betterment of their community. The gathering was seen as a step forward in strengthening the partnership between the barangay officials and the city leadership.
During the visit, discussions centered on ongoing projects and how the local government could better support Barangay Cutcut in implementing development initiatives. This meeting is part of Mayor Lazatin’s ongoing efforts to maintain strong communication with the different barangays within the city and ensure that the needs of each community are addressed effectively.
