On November 11, 2024, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. publicly recognized a remarkable act of diligence by Jail Officer 1 (JO1) Camille Ann Romero. The mayor presented Romero with a certificate of commendation and a cash incentive for her exceptional work in uncovering a contraband tobacco shipment that was being smuggled into the Angeles City District Jail Male Dormitory.
