Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. participated in the President’s Meeting with the Regional Development Council (RDC) III on February 28, 2025, held at the City of San Jose Del Monte Convention Center in Bulacan. The gathering, which was led by President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr., aimed to discuss and strategize on key development projects in Central Luzon. The meeting brought together various leaders and officials to tackle the region’s development challenges.
The primary focus of the meeting was to outline priority projects for the region, ensuring coordinated action among local and national government agencies. It also highlighted the importance of addressing significant development challenges that affect Central Luzon, such as infrastructure improvements, transportation upgrades, and enhancing economic opportunities for the communities in the region.
Department of Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon and Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) President and CEO Engr. Joshua Bingcang were also in attendance, contributing their expertise to the discussions. Both officials played a key role in shaping the region’s future, especially in terms of transportation networks and the development of former military bases into thriving economic zones.
In his participation, Mayor Lazatin emphasized the importance of collaboration among local government units, national agencies, and private stakeholders.
