Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. met with Angeles City Police Office City Director, PCol. Joselito Villarosa, on January 27, 2025, to get an update on the current peace and order situation in the city. The meeting, which also included city official Dong Mendiola, focused on strategies to maintain the city’s low crime rate and ensure public safety moving forward.
Mayor Lazatin expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing efforts of the local police in keeping crime rates low since he assumed office. The mayor emphasized his commitment to maintaining a secure environment for all residents of Angeles City. “Our focus remains on ensuring that our city stays safe, and we are committed to doubling our efforts in maintaining peace and order,” he stated during the meeting.
The Mayor’s office has been working closely with the Angeles City Police to improve security measures and police visibility in key areas. Lazatin highlighted the importance of keeping a high police presence to deter criminal activity and ensure that citizens feel safe in their daily lives. PCol.
