On February 12, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. met with officers from the Korean Community Association in Central Luzon during a courtesy visit at the Mayor’s Office. The meeting was an opportunity to strengthen ties between the local government and the Korean community in the region.
Joining Mayor Lazatin in welcoming the delegation were City Engineer’s Officer-in-Charge Helen Ayro and ACDRRMO Chief Rudy Simeon. Together, they engaged in discussions about future collaborative projects and initiatives that could benefit both the Korean community and the city of Angeles.
One of the key highlights of the visit was the presentation of the proposed design for the Korean Town Arc in the Friendship area.
