On March 26, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. presented a plaque of recognition to Holy Angel University (HAU) for ranking 10th nationwide in the recent Licensure Examination for Criminologists. The prestigious recognition highlights HAU’s outstanding performance among the 22,245 successful examinees across the country.
During the ceremony, Mayor Lazatin also honored John Michael Bundalian Amio, a graduate of HAU, for his exceptional achievement in the licensure exam. Amio earned the highest percentage rating of 92.2%, securing his place as the topnotcher in the exam. His achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication to his studies.
The plaque of recognition was formally handed over to Nino Kabiling, the Dean of the Criminology Department at Holy Angel University, who expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution. “This recognition reflects the dedication and commitment of both our faculty and students, and we are proud to have contributed to the success of our graduates,” Kabiling said.
