On January 21, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. extended a warm welcome to members of the Philippine Army’s 70th Infantry Battalion during their courtesy call at the Mayor’s Office. The delegation was led by Battalion Commander LtCol. Ryan Joseph Cayton, who was accompanied by several key officers.
During the meeting, Mayor Lazatin was joined by Secretary to the Mayor Raffy Lazatin, ACDRRMO Chief Rudy Simeon, and local community leader Dong Mendiola. The courtesy call provided an opportunity for the city officials and the military officers to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly in enhancing security and cooperation between the city government and the Armed Forces.
LtCol. Cayton, who heads the 70th Infantry Battalion, was accompanied by Company Executive Officer 2Lt. Martin Delos Santos, as well as Charlie Company Commanding Officer 1Lt. Karl Barrientos.
