ANGELES CITY – On February 24, 2025, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. engaged in a productive and insightful conversation with Department of Tourism (DOT) Region III Director Dr. Richard Daenos during his courtesy visit to the Mayor’s Office. The meeting highlighted the city’s commitment to further enhancing its tourism sector with the guidance and support of the regional DOT office.
Mayor Lazatin was accompanied by City Tourism Officer Anneleen Sugui, who also took part in the discussions regarding future tourism initiatives in the city. The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to explore potential programs aimed at promoting Angeles City as a premier destination for both local and international visitors.
Dr. Daenos, who is responsible for overseeing tourism development in Central Luzon, shared valuable insights into the region’s tourism growth and how Angeles City can continue to benefit from the broader strategies being implemented by the Department of Tourism. “We are looking forward to collaborating with the local government to boost tourism and create more opportunities for the residents of Angeles City,” Daenos said.
