Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. awarded a Certificate of Recognition to Achillas Maximus Cristobal on April 2, 2025, for his outstanding achievement in the international arena. Cristobal, a young math prodigy from Angeles City, won the World Star Champion title in the Thailand International Math Olympiad under the kindergarten group category.
Mayor Lazatin commended Cristobal for his dedication and exceptional talent, which earned him the prestigious honor. The Mayor expressed his pride in Cristobal’s accomplishment, noting that the achievement not only brought pride to his family but also to the entire city of Angeles.
