On January 21, 2025, Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. officially administered the oath of office to the newly-elected officers of the Angeles City Barangay Secretary Association (ACBASA) at the Mayor’s Office. The ceremony marked an important step for the newly-formed leadership team, as they prepare to serve the community and enhance the role of barangay secretaries across the city.
The newly sworn-in officials included ACBASA President Loreto Reyes, who will lead the association’s activities and initiatives. The team also appointed Ramil Maneje as Vice President for Internal Affairs, who will oversee matters related to the internal functioning of the association, and Camille Del Rosario, the Vice President for External Affairs, who will represent ACBASA in dealings with outside organizations and government agencies.
Other key members of the ACBASA leadership are Secretary Mc Francis Diangson, Treasurer Brenda Ocop, and Auditor Ron Ryan Sugui. The association also includes a team of Board of Directors: Amante Cayanan, Marissa Palma, Irene Agapito, Mark Hernandez, Danilo Carbungco, Anna Costes, and Garry Tapnio, all of whom bring diverse skills and experience to the association’s leadership structure.
During the ceremony, Mayor Lazatin expressed his confidence in the new officers’ ability to effectively serve the barangay secretaries in Angeles City. He emphasized the importance of their role in ensuring smooth operations at the barangay level, particularly in fostering better governance and community development.
