Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. held a key meeting on January 6, 2025, with several department heads to evaluate and enhance the process of applying for and renewing business permits in the city. Accompanied by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Mayor Lazatin discussed the importance of streamlining the procedures to avoid delays for business owners. Business Permit and Licensing Division Chief Enrico Romero, Quality Management System Representative Chrysalene Cunanan, and representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection — Angeles City, led by Fire Marshal FCINSP Nestor Buta, were all present to discuss the ways to improve the current system. They explored potential solutions for streamlining operations and making the process more convenient for businesses in the city.
Romero highlighted the Mayor’s goal of making the renewal and issuance of business permits as fast and convenient as possible, ensuring that there are no disruptions to the local economy. “Mayor Lazatin wants to make the process quicker and more efficient so the flow of business in the city will not be delayed,” Romero explained.
