ANGELES CITY – On March 17, 2025, in line with Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr.’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel visited the newly constructed primary care facility in Barangay Pulungbulu. The facility is part of the city government’s effort to bring essential medical services closer to Angeleños, ensuring that residents have easy access to health services.
Manuel was joined by key city officials during the visit, including Angeles City Economic Development and Investment Promotions Officer Irish Bonus-Llego, Angeles City Tourism Officer Anneleen Sugui, and General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo. Together, they toured the newly upgraded facility and assessed its services, which are aimed at providing comprehensive healthcare to the community.
The improvement of the former sub-health center into a full Primary Care Facility was one of Mayor Lazatin’s top priorities for the health sector. With this upgrade, the facility now offers a wider range of medical services to meet the growing needs of residents. The new center is designed to address various health concerns and provide preventive care, making healthcare more accessible to local families.
Mayor Lazatin has long been focused on improving healthcare infrastructure, recognizing the importance of convenient and efficient medical services for the well-being of the city’s population. With the opening of the primary care facility, Angeleños can now rely on a nearby healthcare center for their routine check-ups, treatments, and other health-related needs.
The city’s government plans to further improve medical access across other barangays, with additional facilities expected in the future. The health services in Barangay Pulungbulu are just one part of a broader effort to create a healthier and more supportive environment for the residents of Angeles City.
In addition to healthcare services, the new primary care facility also aims to provide essential health education and support to the community. The city is committed to fostering a proactive approach to health, encouraging residents to take an active role in maintaining their well-being.
Mayor Lazatin’s administration continues to prioritize the health of the city’s residents, ensuring that all Angeleños have the resources they need for a healthy life. With the successful completion of this primary care facility, the city government is optimistic that more communities will benefit from these advancements in public healthcare.
