On November 14, 2024, the Mutya Ning Angeles (MNA) working committee, led by Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, gathered for an important coordination meeting to finalize preparations for the upcoming MNA Coronation Night. This prestigious event, which showcases the beauty and talent of Angeles City’s young women, is set to take place on November 28, 2024.
The meeting was attended by several key officials and department heads to ensure the success of the event. City Tourism Officer-in-Charge Anneleen Antonio-Sugui, ACEDIPO Head Irish Bonus-Llego, and Information and Communication Technology Division Chief Michael Lising, were present, along with other important figures such as Angeles City Traffic Development Officer Francis Pangilinan. Also in attendance were Sharmaine Gonzales from the Mayor’s Office, Marlon Tuazon, Rosette Ramos-Biag, and Rommel “Poklong” Guina, all contributing to the event’s preparation.
One of the primary concerns discussed was the coordination of various logistics, including the security measures necessary to maintain a peaceful and orderly event. The Angeles City Police were represented at the meeting, reassuring the working committee that adequate police personnel would be deployed to ensure the safety of all attendees during the coronation night. The police’s presence will be crucial for crowd control and to address any potential issues that may arise during the high-profile event.
In addition to security, the meeting also covered other logistical elements such as the program flow, technical needs, and transportation management. With such a large number of participants, including contestants, their families, and event-goers, ensuring smooth coordination in all aspects is critical. Traffic management was also a point of focus, with Officer Pangilinan highlighting the need for effective traffic rerouting to prevent congestion in the area surrounding the event venue.
The MNA coronation night is not just a beauty pageant but a celebration of Angeles City’s cultural heritage. The event will feature performances and showcases of local talents, and organizers are working to make it a memorable occasion for both the contestants and the audience. Each department head present emphasized the importance of presenting a well-organized event that reflects the city’s commitment to promoting tourism and local culture.
A key component of the meeting was ensuring that all the technical aspects of the event, such as lighting, sound systems, and video production, are in place. Michael Lising, the ICT Chief, underscored the significance of these elements in providing a seamless experience for the live audience and those who will be watching the event through various media platforms.
With the event just over a week away, the working committee remains focused on fine-tuning the remaining details. The coordination meeting highlighted the collective effort and dedication of all involved, from government officials to technical staff, all working together to ensure that the Mutya Ning Angeles 2024 Coronation Night is a resounding success.
