The Angeles City Hall has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent individual offering fake health certificates and IDs. The Sanitation Division has confirmed that a person named Cierv Guevo, who is not an employee of the city government, has been illegally creating and selling counterfeit health IDs to unsuspecting applicants.
The authorities have already confiscated several fake IDs that Guevo produced. He has been actively offering these counterfeit documents through various Facebook groups and in-person transactions with applicants waiting for their health certificates. This has raised significant concerns for both the Sanitation Division and the public, prompting the urgent advisory.
The Sanitation Division clarified that the only legitimate way to obtain a Health Certificate/ID is through their official office. The legitimate process is available from Monday to Thursday, between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Applicants are required to secure a queue number (from 1 to 500), with the distribution starting promptly at 7:30 AM each day.
For individuals with special needs, the process is designed to be more accessible. Persons with disabilities (PWDs), senior citizens, and pregnant women are provided with a separate and streamlined procedure to ensure their convenience and safety during the application process.
The public has been strongly advised not to engage with Guevo or any other unauthorized individuals offering services for health IDs. The city government emphasized that such transactions not only undermine the integrity of the official process but also expose applicants to potential scams or legal issues.
To avoid falling victim to fraudulent activities, the Sanitation Division urges everyone to only deal with the official personnel at the city hall. This is crucial for ensuring the authenticity of the Health Certificate/ID and for the protection of the applicants’ personal information.
