ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA–Angeles City experienced an early celebration of Valentine’s Day when heart-shaped lanterns illuminated its main streets on Abacan Bridge, aiming to spread a feeling of love. The city government, led by Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr., has been consistently placing these lanterns on major roads to create a positive atmosphere for the public to enjoy while traveling. Additionally, Mayor Lazatin intends to highlight the talents of local artisans, as these lanterns are locally crafted and designed by Lazatin’s Chief Adviser, IC Calaguas, and Executive Assistant IV, Reina Manuel.
