ANGELES CITY – The campaign trail of “Team Mayor Jon Lazatin” made a vibrant and heartfelt stop in Barangay Salapungan, where residents warmly welcomed the team with smiles, handshakes, and sincere conversations.
Congressman and mayoral candidate Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II led the house-to-house campaign, personally meeting families and community members to hear their stories, concerns, and hopes for the future of their barangay and the entire city.
The atmosphere during the visit was described as festive and full of warmth. From cheerful greetings to open-door conversations, it was clear that Lazatin’s grassroots approach resonated deeply with the people of Salapungan.
“It was more than just a campaign stop—it was a celebration of unity and a reminder of why public service matters,” said one member of Team Lazatin. The team emphasized how these interactions help shape their plans and priorities for a more inclusive and people-centered city governance.
Throughout the visit, Lazatin listened attentively to residents’ needs, especially in terms of livelihood opportunities, youth development, and better access to basic services. He assured the community that under his leadership, no barangay would be left behind.
Local residents expressed appreciation for the personal touch brought by Lazatin’s campaign. “It’s not every day that a candidate visits you at your doorstep and takes the time to truly listen,” one resident shared.
As the sun began to set on a productive and inspiring day, Lazatin and his team left Salapungan with renewed energy and deeper insight into the real needs of the community. “This is how we build a better Angeles—together, one barangay at a time,” Lazatin said with gratitude.
